Troubleshooting via the ecoeats Orders app
The ecoeats Orders app provides a number of indicators to let you know if there are any problems in keeping you online and advises on how to resolve them.
Sound or notification issues
Open tablet settings > Device > Sound.
Ensure both the Media and Ring volumes are at greater than 50% and make a loud noise when you adjust the slider.
If you do not hear a sound for either of the above tests, change the Phone ringtone and the Default notification ringtone and try again.
Restart the device if you are still experiencing issues.
If you do hear a sound but there is still an issue, follow these additional steps:
Go to settings > Apps > ecoeats Orders > Notifications.
Toggle Override Do Not Disturb.
Restart the device if you are still experiencing issues.
More Tablet Troubleshooting
After each step, check if the tablet app is working for you.
Step 1: Quit and reopen the app.
ecoeats Orders tablet app > Settings > Restart App.
Step 2: Check the tablet is connected to the internet.
Pull down from the top of the screen.
Hold the wifi symbol until you are taken to the wifi settings.
Check the tablet is connected to wifi.
Sometimes the tablet is connected to wifi but the wifi router is not connected to the internet. In this case, you need to contact your internet service provider.
The ecoeats Orders app will notify you on screen if there is a connection issue.
Step 3: Check the ecoeats Orders app settings are correct.
Check through all of the in app settings via Ecoeats Orders tablet app > Settings. Ensure all of your settings are set correctly. In particular, confirm whether you are within your listed opening hours and that your Pickup Settings are correct.
Step 4: Restart the tablet
Step 5: Delete the app cache and data
Press the circle symbol at the bottom of the screen.
Open Settings
Go to Device > Apps > Ecoeats Orders > Storage
Click Clear cache
Click Clear data > Ok
Step 6: Restart the tablet again.
Step 7: Factory reset the tablet.
